As we grieve over the last year and the tumultuous emotions we've had to face it is important to remember the good times and all the good news that has come our way. Whether it be intimate summer gathering, the blessing of new life, or a positive outlook on our future we are all in this together. Change of plans

When starting the wedding planning process, our couple had big plans over a 3 day weekend with 300 of their closest guests in DC. In the middle of the planning, Covid 19 arrived and plans had to change. Keeping the original wedding date was extremely important and having as many of their family members watch was also important. So, the team pivoted and put the big event weekend on pause until 2021.

For now, we focused our attention on the immediate family event that included a Nikkah, Hindu ceremony, vow ceremony and lunch at the Bride's family home. Prior to the wedding, all of the 12 guests were Covid tested. On the wedding day, all vendors wore masks.

They were able to share this special day with up to 100 of their international guests via Zoom. The decor was extremely important to make the day special so greenery and soft blushes were the general look. For the Nikkah and vow ceremony, we reused the space and added pops of red. Entrance stairs were dressed with beautiful greenery and served as the backdrop for the processionals.
