In this Modern NYC Wedding, Sharifa + Leighton were married on the edge of harbor in New York City. Overlooking the waters with a view of the Statue of Liberty at Liberty Wearhouse. The echo of passing boats, and the crashing of water on the rocks below, set the tone for the guest and family members. The wedding took place at sunset, and they were surrounded by city lights that illuminated the tall buildings. Not only was the air heavy with love, and laughter but orchard flowers strung around the ceremony and trickled into the lavishly decorated reception area.

They entire building and surrounding area’s were covered with orchard flowers, these were the colors of the flowers in the bridesmaids flower details.
Sharifa’s flowers were all white orchards, and the wedding details were shells with unique orchards and beads that lined the ceremony walkway. The brides shoes were Manolo Blahnik, with diamond embellishments.
The Liberty Warehouse was brick, both inside and out…with a warm hardwood floor and modern light fixtures.
