The fashion is on-point at this citrus-themed micro-wedding

These days, it seems wedding plans don't always go...well, to plan. The important thing to remember is why you are having a wedding in the first place. You're bringing all of the people together that made you both who you are today to celebrate the love you've found in each other and to witness you pledge your lives to one another. So, when health concerns arose that may prevent the bride's dad from attending their wedding on their original date, Molly and Bradley bumped their wedding day up by four months without giving it a second thought.

Thankfully their incredible team of vendors, led by Elizabeth Bailey Weddings, was up to the challenge and put together the micro-wedding of our dreams! Seriously, you'd never know that this stunning citrus-inspired wedding was a plan B. And while they didn't originally plan on a micro-wedding, the smaller guest list actually opened up some interesting venue options, like the modern courtyard at Sagamore Pendry, that a big wedding just wouldn't have allowed. Keep reading to hear more about how they incorporated their citrus theme throughout the entire day and to see more of these dreamy photos by Love Life Images.

Molly and Bradley originally planned an August 2023 wedding, but due to some health concerns with the bride's father, they moved their wedding up to May 2023 and planned a beautiful, intimate wedding day full of emotion and personalized details. Due to the smaller size of their wedding, we were able to take advantage of the spaces at the hotel in non-traditional ways. The wedding ceremony was held in a courtyard space. A citrus theme was incorporated throughout the wedding day, in both decor and color palette.

The groom and groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos. Bridesmaids were in mix-and-match style light pink dresses. The bride wore a simple sheath-style wedding dress with ruffled details and a short wedding veil for the wedding ceremony. She then changed into a long-sleeved, lace mini dress with personalized silver cowboy boots for the reception.

The courtyard space was then transformed for the reception, bringing an Aperol spritz theme to life with orange florals by Wicked Willow and candles, and even citrus slices in the centerpieces, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The night ended with an epic confetti drop.
