Michigan Wedding Photography by West Park Photography

Hello there Wedding Chicks fans!  We have been listed on the Wedding Chicks Vendor Directory for a few months now, and we figured it was about time we introduced ourselves.   🙂
West Park Photography is a small boutique photography studio based in Southeastern Michigan.  We are a couple who shoot all of our weddings together, which we feel is a unique benefit to our clients.  While the bulk of our weddings take place within 100 miles of our studio in Birmingham, MI, we also love to travel all over the state.
As our way of saying “Hi!” here are a couple images from our weddings so far this year.

Bride and Groom Wedding Day Portrait in Sepia Tone

Nick & Valerie were married this past May at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Detroit, with a reception following in Pontiac at the Lafayette Grande.  (If you would like to see more images from this event, you can find them here and here.)  The Detroit area offers many unique and elegant venues for weddings, with plenty of stunning historic churches, and traditional ballroom-style reception venues full of the charm of an earlier era.

Our second wedding of the season took place in Frankenmuth, MI – a place, if you aren’t familiar with it, which is well known in Michigan as a German-themed town famous for its fried chicken dinners, unique storefronts, and iconic wooden bridge.  Our bride and groom, Nikole & Paul, are just wonderful and interesting people.  Nikole has been on archeological digs in Italy as part of her studies and Paul is a commissioned officer in the Air Force about to train as a fighter pilot.  (Their engagement session and wedding images can be found on our blog.)

That’s it for now!  We have had a very busy 2009 and look foward to sharing more images soon.  In the meantime, you can find our latest work on our blog, or keep checking back here!  🙂
