Magnolia Leaves Brought a Touch of Southern Charm to this Arkansas Wedding

Share

Riley and Camryn grew up just 30 miles apart, their paths quietly crossing during summers in undergrad school without ever fully colliding. It wasn’t until later, when life had taken shape in new and meaningful ways, that everything finally perfectly aligned. While Camryn was immersed in her doctoral program in physical therapy and Riley was building his insurance agency in the same town, he asked her out on a date. What had once been near misses turned into something lasting, steady, and undeniably meant to be. As the new year approached, Riley began planning a proposal that reflected the thoughtfulness of their relationship. After spending a month designing a custom ring and asking her father for permission on New Year’s Day, he set his plan in motion. Under the guise of a simple family photo session, and with a photographer who just so happened to be a dear friend, Riley got down on one knee. From a distance, their closest family and friends watched it unfold, turning an already emotional moment into a shared memory.

Elegant & Inviting Event Design

When it came time to plan their wedding, Riley and Camryn envisioned a day that felt equal parts elegant and inviting. On November 8, 2025, that vision came to life at The Silos in Bono, Arkansas with the guidance of their planner, Samantha McFadden of Planned by Sam. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was set for connection, and the entire day carried an effortless energy.

On trend: Effortless Bridal Style

Camryn’s gown felt both sophisticated and effortless, striking that perfect balance between elegance and comfort.

Wedding Party Style: Polished, Not Rigid

The wedding party complemented her seamlessly, and guests were invited to dress up while still feeling like themselves. It was polished without feeling rigid, and stylish without feeling forced.

Detail We Love: Magnolia Leaves

Camryn had always dreamed of being surrounded by flowers, and that vision came to life in a way that felt both timeless and deeply personal. A stunning floral arch by Generations Floral Company framed the ceremony, while soft and abundant arrangements carried throughout the space. Magnolia leaves were thoughtfully woven in, adding a Southern elegance that elevated the overall design without overwhelming it. The result was classic, romantic, and undeniably beautiful.

Refreshingly Relaxed Approach to Dinner

Dinner took a refreshingly relaxed approach. Instead of a traditional plated meal, guests enjoyed a variety of substantial hors d’oeuvres. This allowed continued conversation and environmental flow throughout the evening, where no one felt confined to a single place for too long.

On trend: Cascading Cake Florals

At the reception, a five-tier cake stood as a true centerpiece, classic in design with delicate cascading florals.

Kansas City groom’s cake

Alongside it, a groom’s cake added a playful and personal touch. Riley’s cake offered a small glimpse into his personality and interests, which included Oreo cookies and the Kansas City Chiefs. It was a perfect balance of elegance and individuality, something that truly carried throughout the entire day.

Dogs Are Always Invited!

One of the sweetest moments came with the inclusion of their dog, who joined in for part of the celebration. It was a small but meaningful detail, adding a layer of personality and warmth that made the day feel even more like them.

Photography That Tells a Story

Behind the lens, photographer Chelsea Duff captured every moment with care, preserving the emotion, joy, and quiet in-between glances that made the day so special. Each image tells the story just as it felt. Genuine, joyful, and full of love and life.

The Honeymoon

Following the wedding, life moved quickly. With new jobs and the holiday season in full swing, Riley and Camryn chose to delay their honeymoon. But sometimes, the best moments arrive unexpectedly. At the end of January, a close family friend gifted them a trip to Mexico! Ten days spent in Cozumel, where they were finally able to slow down, reflect, and soak in the beginning of their new chapter together.
