From Love On Top Weddings

Mandy & John got engaged at El Pueblito Mayakoba, a beautiful little chapel in the middle of Mayakoba with Mexican charm. Soon after they got engaged they decided to get married at that same chapel and have their reception at Rosewood, a world-class luxury hotel in Riviera Maya.

They had a very clear idea of what they wanted, a very romantic wedding with colonial/elegant style. Lots of blooms and movement with bright pink bougainvillea accents which reminded Mandy’s grandmother.

We put together an extraordinary team of vendors and designed the perfect day for them. We used lots of florals with pops of turquoise, gold, and fruits. The reception was held at the brand new “Aqui me Quedo” at Rosewood, this adults-only oasis with a beachfront palapa, pools and a vintage food truck, it’s name is translated in English as “Here I stay”. We had a beautiful evening with a full moon and a sky full of stars.

Music was a big deal for them too, they flew The Gold Coast Band and they rocked the night away. We also had local artists as the flamenco guitar, harp, violin and acoustic guitar who made the ceremony and cocktail a delightful time. At the end of the night, we had water drums and fire dancers.
