The Vision: Refined Yet Laidback

Shobha and Ciaran had been together for many years, so when it came to their wedding, they knew one thing for sure—it had to be a proper celebration. A day that felt less like a formal affair and more like the ultimate party, bringing together all of their favorite people in one beautiful place. They chose the incredible Château de la Couronne, nestled in the French countryside, which couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for such a joyful gathering of friends and family. Their August wedding, designed and planned by Marry Me in France, was everything they had hoped for—elegant and refined, yet relaxed, fun, and completely effortless. From the moment the day began, there was such a sense of ease. Nothing felt rushed or forced, just a whole lot of laughter, love, and genuinely good energy. Shobha and Ciaran have one of those infectious, feel-good energies, and it set the tone for the entire celebration.

The styling was timeless and striking, centered around a classic black and white palette with a chic black-tie feel. Gorgeous white florals by Les Fleurs Coupees were paired with black bridesmaids’ dresses, creating a look that felt both modern and elegant. Thoughtful details were everywhere, from the oversized mirror table plan to the beautiful stationery finished with black bows, all the way through to Shobha’s stunning dress change for the evening celebrations. It was a day that felt effortlessly stylish, full of warmth, and an absolute joy to be part of.

The Fashion

The bride fully embraced the fairytale vibes in a voluminous A-line ballgown, complete with a dramatic train and gorgeous off-the-shoulder draping. She paired the look with timeless pearl earrings and matching Jimmy Choo pearl sandals. Her bridesmaids looked equally elegant for the occasion, with each donning a black dress in a silhouette that reflected their personal style. The groom sported a classic black tuxedo, looking every bit the Prince Charming. Then, as the night went on, the bride switched things up with an adorable mini dress!

The Celebration

To get the party started, the couple popped some bottles with a literal saber, which made for an epic champagne tower. Then the festivities continued into the night with a delicious plated dinner and, of course, dancing.
