• Real Weddings

As we've all learned over the past several years, a lot can happen from the time you get engaged up until the big day arrives. Maddie and Chase had their venue booked and were ironing out all of the other details when a happy surprise came their way–Maddie was pregnant! With parenthood on the horizon, they had to make some big changes to their timeline and bumped their November wedding up to March. Fortunately, they had a great team behind them and, their planner, MDP Events was able to help them regroup and still pull off the fairytale wedding they had been dreaming of, now with an even happier ending! 

Even though they had a change of venue, their pastel blue color palette and romantic wedding design complemented Marie Selby Botanical Gardens beautifully! This spring wedding was all about the florals with arrangments lining the aisle culminating in a grand floral arch brought to life by Botanica International Design & Decor Studio. A LITTLE SURPRISE BRINGS A BIG CHANGE 

This romantic Florida spring wedding was filled with custom details and dreamy décor that we can’t stop reminiscing about! Maddie and Chase were set to get married at a different venue in November of 2022 when they found out Maddie was pregnant! Thankfully, we were able to redesign, relocate, and rebook their special day for March 2022. Sarasota’s Marie Selby Botanical Gardens was the perfect spot encompassing ocean-front views and fresh bright blooms creating a living museum setting for their family and friends. 

A REAL-LIFE FAIRYTALE 

Guests took their seats in front of the large, lush arch of white and dusty blue florals that Botanica International Design & Decor Studio built to bring all the fairytale dreams to life! The aisle was lined with gorgeous delphinium arrangements adding height and texture. When entering the reception, guests were greeted with champagne from a tropical foliage wall that displayed “The Ierna’s” in big neon lights. The room was transformed by drapery, fairy lights, chandeliers, and a breathtaking hanging floral display over their sweetheart table. Pops of gold and dusty blue were woven throughout the tabletop décor and their personalized monogram was showcased from their ceremony programs to the menu cards and everything in between. 

NOT YOUR AVERAGE CAKE-CUTTING 

After their first dance, Maddie changed into her all-white pearl Jimmy Choo dancing shoes, just one of the many stunning components of her attire for the day. This was not your average cake cutting as their sugar flower-covered cake also was their gender reveal–it was a girl! To end the night, the newlyweds took private photos in front of their vintage Rolls Royce before all guests lined up for an Optic Wand send-off to bid them adieu! This whole day came together beautifully and these two made so many incredible memories that they will relive forever through stories, photos, and videos for years to come!
