Design Inspiration
As you step onto the grounds of the Villa Sancti in Malibu, you immediately feel as if you have been transported to the grounds of European wine country. A feast for the eyes! With a superb team of Southern California creatives, this styled shoot will provide endless inspiration!
Complementing the natural setting of the Villa, So Happi Together designed a whimsical dream of a vignette. Dressing a wooden structure in verdant greenery combined with purple florals and bold lighting.
The table was draped in a suede velvet linen with gold-rimmed china and brushed gold flatware. A custom menu was placed atop the dinnerware with one lilac flower. Florals in shades of lilac, fuchsia, red, blush and burgundy set in antique gold votives were placed down the center of the table.

Inspired by Susan Burger’s impeccable design, creating the menu for the launch party at Villa Sancti needed to be short summary representing a journey through the classic villa regions of Europe. From the deliberate selection of the wood used to grill prawns reminiscent of coastal Spain, to the ever so intentional assembly of the compound garlic and herb butter used to finish the fresh cooked Chateaubriand. Each and every ingredient was carefully curated with only one thing in mind. How will it make our guests feel?
Taking just one bite of the Organic Chicken Spezzatino that landed in your hand upon arrival would rapidly flash guests back to their childhood of coming home to warm stew on a chilly night. We wanted our guests to feel something, something that represented either their dreams of travel or brought them home to their most vivid childhood memories. Sometimes, simple tradition is best.
