Perfect Day

From Kelli Lynn Photography: Four years later, on the same weekend they met, Brittney and Matthew got married at the stunning Talon Winery in Lexington, Kentucky. Brittney and Matthew’s wedding was beyond incredible! Their venue is one of my favorites and is a true display of how breathtaking Kentucky is. Sitting on a beautiful vineyard, Talon Winery has a stunning bridal suite, multiple ceremony locations, as well as an amazing barn for indoor festivities.

Pop That Question
Do you love to hear proposal stories? Well Brittney and Matthew's in one for the books! We love how he popped the question so click here to here all about it!

Brittney and Matthew met five years ago, the weekend they got married while celebrating The University of Kentucky football! Little did they know they had several mutual friends and should have met sooner than they did! Matthew’s proposal to Brittney was perfect! Brittney’s favorite time of year is Christmas. She absolutely LOVES Christmas! Last Christmas, Brittney and Matthew were celebrating at her parents house and Matthew asked for Brittney to follow him downstairs because he had a gift he couldn’t wait to give her. Brittney, for a moment, thought he was going to propose, but was surprised when Matthew presented her with a Kentucky necklace. While Brittney thought the necklace was lovely, she was a little confused why he would pull her away from the celebration to give it to her. Whenever they made their way back upstairs where Brittney’s family were, Brittney was met with her family holding flowers and a sign that read ‘Will you marry me.’ Brittney spun around to see Matthew on his knee with a ring, and of course she said yes!

Now it's Personal

There were so many personal touches to this wedding that added to the organic and romantic feel that Brittney was dreaming of. From the floral decor being created by Brittney and her mother, to the perfume that Matthew used to always buy Brittney, and the diamond in Brittney's ring being a family heirloom, all the personal details made this wedding extra special!

The genuine love that these two have makes me so excited and I really tried to capture their wedding in a way where you could see that raw emotion in every image. Brittney and Matthew, along with their family and friends, were such a joy to work with. This wedding is by far one of my favorites ever!
