Laid Back Glam Wedding

Finding Light Photography @weddingchicks

Who out there has a little trouble letting go of the reins now and then? We all do now and then .. right?  Our next bride, Marisa was hesitant to let go of all the planning responsibilities, but in the end she was able to. When she saw the finished product, she was more than happy with how every last detail turned out. She just let her vendors do what they do best, create an amazing event.

Keeping it Fun

From the Bride: Some of the best compliments we received was that our ceremony was actually fun! This was amazing to hear since (let’s be real) the ceremony usually isn’t what everyone looks forward to when attending a wedding. Our friend of many years officiated which I think set the tone for a more relaxed ceremony.

Trust the Pros

When we started planning, we had so many DIY ideas we wanted to incorporate but as time moved closer we realized some elements are just better left for the professionals. Being somewhat of a control freak, it was hard for me to envision how everything was going to come together after a year of planning but when people say “trust your vendors” just do it; I did and I do not regret it.
