On a picturesque afternoon in early September, the winds of change blowing through the newly auburn leaves, two souls in love were joined in long anticipated matrimony. Alex (they/them) and Corina (she/her) were married in a simply beautiful boho micro ceremony at the Arnold Arboretum. The couple and a handful of guests returned to the couples apartment for an intimate reception.

You’re going to want to keep scrolling to see more of these beautiful photos by Kate Preftakes Photography. Sorrell Downing planned every detail, Southern Calligraphy created the invitations and Apotheca Flower put together all of the amazing florals for this beautiful couple on their wedding day at Arnold Arboretum. Alex (they/them) and Corina (she/her) delighted in all of the idyllic autumnal sights and scenes the park had to offer, and their blissful energy was palpable to guests and onlookers alike.

Corina looked stunning in her off the shoulder illusion neckline gown with a high slit and Alex looked perfect in their dusty pink three piece suit, velvet bow tie and red bottom shoes.

They’ve been working on a garden together as a quarantine project; the beautiful garden and the process of cultivating it served as a serendipitous symbol for their relationship, and the patience and dedication that can reap a lifetime of happiness.

The Arnold Arboretum in Boston, MA was the perfect venue for their celebration, with the regal cascading trees and exquisite architecture gracing the space. A small group of loved ones gathered at the park to witness the union of Alex and Corina, and shared in the warmth of their joy.
