Joyful wedding couple with baby in outdoor family photo

Bride and groom Katie and John wanted a Boho whimsical feel for their special day, and that’s exactly what they got! They couldn’t stop raving that everything about their day at Flying Caballos (San Luis Obispo) turned out better then they could ever have dreamt of and felt completely elevated.

Keep scrolling to hear more about their day at Flying Caballos, photographed by The Olive Bungalow, with exquisite flowers courtesy of Flowers by Denise, catering by Fire and Wine Catering, cocktails by Side Car Cocktail, and cake and desserts by The Cakery and SLODOCO Donuts. Complete Your Vibe with the Right Rentals

At their pandemic-postponed wedding celebration, this couple hoped for a chance to demonstrate all the miracles that occurred through their time dating and first year of marriage. Their wedding style goal was simplicity, beauty, and a touch of Frank Sinatra. Rentals and stationery from All About Events, Stickearte, Splendid Moment, and Luna Paper Company helped Katie and John create this exact vibe.

A Teary First Look

Katie and John’s first look was monumental for many reasons. Firstly, all of their original plans had failed, but they ended up getting married earlier on a very small scale despite the pandemic. Secondly, they had endured so many joys and challenges to get to the larger celebration that they were just so grateful that – despite all of the craziness of world – the simple beauty of the day and their relationship with each other and their family was all they really needed.

A Ranch-Inspired Ceremony

What was the most meaningful part of this day a long time in the making? Being at the altar and completely committing to each other was an experience for this couple without equal. It was a personal and special moment that solidified the couple’s commitment to each other and their family.
