About the venue

If you have not heard of Cayucos California, you aren’t alone. Until we received this sweet and charming wedding from the Cass House Inn and Restaurant in Cayucos, it had not reached our radar. The small coastal town is located in the Estero Bay, between Morobay and Cambria, is just a stone’s throw from historic Hearst Castle and filled with rich history.
The historic Victorian period home is the cornerstone of Cayucous history. Originally built in the mid-1800’s by James Cass, this historic Victorian home was the center of the cultural events and social gathering for the town.
The proprietors of the Cass House, Nancy and Gary Bangall, spent fourteen years restoring this magnificent property to its original grandeur, making it the perfect gathering place for an effortlessly elegant wedding with a hint of Victorian vintage flair. The gardens surrounding the property are a stunning backdrop for a Gatsby-like gala, or possibly a quaint garden party. The area has gorgeous weather and will host a wonderful outdoor celebration for up to 150 guests from May through October.

I Do Venues wants to recognize the talented team of wedding professionals who helped to make this bride’s dream a reality: Photographer – Jen Rodriguez Photography; Floral – April Flowers; Cake and Catering – Cass House Inn and Restaurant, Entertainment – Kramer Entertainment.
