I Do Venues: Auberge du Soleil Roses Are Pink

Beautiful bride, wedding flowers, and invitations showcase the event

About the venue

I can’t think of another wedding venue in all of Napa that has more “curb appeal” than Auburge du Soleil. Inevitably, when I bring people up to Napa, whether it be wine tasting or scouting out new wedding venues, someone will raise their eyes to the hillside in Rutherford and ask “What is that?” The response is always the same: “Auberge.”
I feel comfortable using only one word when describing Auberge du soleil, because those who have been there or read about it know Auberge defines the idea of responsible luxury. When guests want to go take a peak, I am a happy to oblige as I know the incredible French Chateau inspired property is a crude representation of the breathtaking views, sun drenched gardens, and overall experience.

Ask the expert

Julie Mikos is incredible! Her attention to detail, the way she captures the moment, and the way she captures emotion is  incredible. This classic Auberge wedding is near and dear to our hearts (read the credits below and find out why). The bride is an incredibly talented graphic designer and she entered into her wedding with a clear idea of what she wanted, and when she found Auberge it was the perfect combination of luxury, french inspired hospitality, and soft romantic backdrop, as if it had been custom-created just for her.
French Victorian Romance is present in every detail of this event; bundles of blush and ecru roses bound together with a pale pink ribbon or encased in silver. The collateral suite designed by the bride is gorgeous. The heavily scrolled fonts, and the combination of cashmere and fawn stationary – color, texture, and movement was viable  in every piece. What an incredible way to entice your guests !
