Southwestern Wedding
From Charity Maurer Photography: Kristen and Jared are from the Bay area, but gathered all of their friends and family all around the country for a chic barn-inspired celebration! Desert Foothills Events in Scottsdale, AZ has a truly unique barn venue for the desert southwest and it suited Kristen and Jared’s day perfectly.
Hors d’oeuvre, Drinks & a Donkey
The couple wed surrounded by towering saguaro cacti, and the dimming light of the desert sun. As the lively party afterward began, they were not only attended to by servers and bartenders, but also by the one and only Beer Burro – a sweet donkey who totes brews to the amusement of the guests at the cocktail hour.
Sweet Wedding Surprise
And to top it all off, Kristen arranged for Jared’s favorite band to give a surprise performance for their first dance at their reception. These two are incredibly sweet to one another and so fun-loving. Their wedding day was a perfect reflection of both of those things!
