How to choose your engagement photo locations

Couple in boat and at Caffe Roma romantic moments

One question that comes up all the time around here is ‘Where should we do our engagement photos?’ My answer tends to be ‘Where do you love to go?’. An engagement session should reflect both your personality and this time of your life. We, Elle Jae, are based in the San Francsico Bay Area and there is no shortage of beautiful places and recognizable landmarks, but I think the locations that are best are ones that have a personal connection to our bride & groom. In these shots, we have three couples that chose great spots! Yoolim & Ed chose to hit their favorite spots in town, while Hannah wanted lots of color. Brian served overseas as a pilot and proposed to Angela while flying over the bay. All personal, all iconic and all super sweet!
