Gorgeous Fall September Wedding in the Pacific Northwest

Fall wedding in the PNW

Fall in the Pacific Northwest is arguably one of the prettiest times of year to get married, and it’s all about those fall colors! Ashley and Brian had a gorgeous September wedding at Swiftwater Cellars in Washington, and it couldn't have turned out more perfect.

Their rustic-chic wedding came together with a gorgeous color palette that included dusty blush, navy, and greenery just about evreywhere you look. A few highlights to look for include nods to the Netherlands (where they got engaged), and their beautiful dessert table with a DIY backdrop and custom signage. With so much to see, you better get started! Plus, check out the full gallery for a closer look from Blue Rose Photography.

From Simply by Tamara Nicole: Ashley and Brian's gorgeous Fall affair took place in September, one of our prettiest months in the PNW. The leaves were the perfect changing shades of reds, oranges, and yellows. The air was crisp yet the weather was perfect for their outside ceremony and cocktail hour. Couldn't have asked for a better day. There were so many sweet moments, and fun details for this wedding and they are ALL about family, and tied that value in throughout the wedding to create an intimate feeling. Ashley and her family are SUPER close, especially her Father. They planned a super sweet first look for her and her Father, and there wasn't a dry eye in the room.

Flowers were really important to Ashley and Brian, and they wanted them to enhance the already gorgeous setting at the venue. In addition to the greenery everywhere, we used a ton of garden roses, ranunculus, peonies, anenomies, etc etc. For the ceremony we created a 45 foot long garland with flowers tucked in, tied up and centered with a LARGE gold and crystal chandelier above their head at the "altar". The chairs along the aisle were tied with posies and trailing ribbon, matching the bridesmaids bouquets. Also flanking the aisle were clustered lanterns, along with large arrangements. Each guest had a little vellum envelope (from Etsy) that read "kiss, cheer, toss" with petals to toss after the kiss!

the reception

To soften the wood in the reception, we added chiffon draping in a few areas surrounding the room. We also added some bistro lights, and hanging greenery installation in the center of the room. Ashley and Brian's Sweetheart table included a fun floral installation from the ground, sweeping up over the fun La Tavola Linen. They had signs on the back of their chairs with a little greenery adorning them. They had a cigar bar (picked by Ashley's father!) with some custom match books from Etsy.

the dessert bar

NOW for my fave detail, their DESSERT bar! Ashley and Brian custom built the entire wall and backdrop themselves! Pomp and Revel made the custom laser cut sign for the wall, and we added lights and greenery. The desserts and wedding cake by Lush Desserts by Amy were SO good, and we added some Krispy Kreme donuts for variety.

favorite moments

There were SO many fave moments from this wedding. The super sweet vows they wrote to each other, there wasn't a dry eye! Right after the ceremony, there were more hugs than I have ever seen, and happy tears and just LOVE. They got the groomsmen fun socks, and they had a blast showing them off throughout the night. Then there was the Hora, which was hilarious because they guys holding Brian's chair were obviously trying to knock him off. There was a perfect blend of funny moments, and heartfelt moments. This wedding will always be a fave of mine, and love them so much! Blue Rose Photography captured it perfectly!
