This colorful Tuscan elopement featured giant hand-crafted flowers

giant hand-crafted flowers

Becky and Sheryl (both models from Manhattan) met for the first time backstage at a fashion show. After being engaged for 5 years, Becky and Sheryl (both from Manhattan) finally had their dream wedding in Tuscany: An elopement with just the two of them and a few of their closest friends. When they decided to get married in Tuscany, they chose to hire Chiara and Silvia from Aries Weddings & Events Tuscany because they were looking for local professionals that could help them with planning every aspect. Together, they created the mood board for this wedding, as they knew they wanted something unconventional and powerful for their special day.

Keep scrolling to see their story narrated through the photography of Isabella Pratesi Photographer and filmed by Francesco Vannetti, a videographer with Wedding Key Studio. Photos also feature the venue, Villa Pazzi al Parugiano, as well as florals by I Fiori di Nadia and catering and cake by Valerio Ricevimenti. Tuscan villa wedding venue

Whimsical details defined the day, including giant, handcrafted and moveable flowers

Becky and Sheryl decided to celebrate their elopement at Villa Pazzi al Parugiano, one of the most prestigious and historic villas in Tuscany and located near Florence. This venue was truly a place where authenticity and classicism come together. Since they both love vivid colors, every detail of their wedding was designed to emphasize the brightness of the color palette, resulting in a balanced and well-defined eye-catching event in every respect. The couple's flowers came out better than they ever imagined thanks to the mastery of Juri Franceshi, flower designer for I Fiori di Nadia who created the most stunning floral arrangements for each of their special moments. The couple also included wonderful giant flowers created by Gaia Pietrella - Giant Flower Artist to decorate the photo booth corner, as well as a tableau de mariage, made by the talented calligrapher Laura Mazzetti of The Wedding Letters.

A vibrant reception design brought whimsy to a beautiful, historic space

The couple wanted an unforgettable dinner reception, so they entrusted Valerio Ricevimenti to take care of their food and table setting. The reception dinner took place above the orangerie in the marvelous Altana, a beautiful covered loggia made with columns and enriched by statues. The result was a stunning mise en place made of Tuscan wooden chairs, a fuchsia table runner, beautifully decorated plates, and yellow napkins with colored menus and place cards with each guest name. I Fiori di Nadia embellished the table with candles and little vases of every shape and color, creating an absolute masterpiece with color.

After their ceremony, Becky and Sheryl changed clothes and wore two marvelous dresses by FRAN: One in fuchsia and the other in lime green. From the very beginning, they had made a special request about the cake cutting: They both wanted to wear a crown of flowers, so Oh My Blush! Makeup & Glam crafted two headbands that met and exceeded their expectations. The party went on with plenty of music and fun - it’s easy to see through these images just how happy they were with their vibrant, special day!
