Once you walk into the William Aiken House, escaping the hustle and bustle of King Street, you are transformed back in time to elegance and charm. Kristin + Travis enjoyed a beautiful wedding here, with a rustic, yet elegant theme. Pops of green and white were used to stand out among navy linens and burlap accessories, creating a southern feel.
Wedding guests relaxed in the cigar and reception lounge, both equipped with rattan love seats and chairs that were decorated with navy and burlap pillows. These lounges provided the perfect rest stop for party guest having tons of fun. The “save your soles” flip flops were a hit with many guests as the dance floor was lively all night long! The hazelnut flavored cake with salted caramel buttercream and chocolate ganache was absolutely amazing. Kristin + Travis departed their wedding reception in true Charleston fashion: on a Charleston Bike Taxi.
