DIY Rose Garden Wedding

DIY Rose Garden Wedding

Stacy and Andrew kept trying to come up with a theme for their wedding day and simply could not nail one down. After a while they just started picking things they really liked and reflected them as individuals and a couple. That's how they came to have music from the video game Final Fantasy for the ceremony and having the officiant read from an iPad.  Other than that, the main theme was a relaxed and relatively casual environment to gather and have fun with family and friends.

Some advice from Stacy to those of you planning a wedding right now:
Don't buy too much early into planning.  I saw so many great ideas when I first started that I wanted to do them all. I bought the materials and then it didn't fit in with anything else I was doing, I changed my mind or I just ran out of time. Also, take care of as much as possible before the wedding day. I spent a lot of time prior making sure all the projects were done, people knew where to be, etc. and if anything went wrong or didn't get done the day of, I knew I had already done everything I could so there was no point in worrying or having regrets. Having a great point person is also key.
