Hicham & James were married on July 4, 2009 at Sassafraz restaurant in the prestigious Yorkville area of Toronto, Canada. The couple wanted a masculine charm wedding filled with bold red and black. It was an intimate affair of 55 guests including the Grooms’ children, family and friends!
One of my very favourite weddings simply due to the love in the room. During their standup ceremony, guests crowded around them to hear their vows, and openly got teary eyed (myself included). The reception included speeches from a vast array of guests (almost 20!) but were never boring, always heartfelt and tremendously sincere. The bellydancer after the main course was a highlight with groom, Hicham, showing off his moves alongside her before challenging his guests. Everyone got in on the party and danced right alongside!
I really can’t express how lovely this wedding truly was without saying that this couple who hired me will always hold a very special place in my heart and I look forward to seeing both them, and their families, continue to grow… together.
