The band played on at this classic New Orleans Ritz Carlton wedding

second-line brass band

Sarah and Michael met at the chef's table of a romantic Italian restaurant. They share a love of travel, trying local foods and delicacies, and exploring new places. Their wedding day was not only one they had dreamed of, but it also served as a sort of going away party before they moved from Washington, D.C. to Brussels, Belgium! Sarah had always wanted to move abroad, and when the opportunity came, she and Micheal decided to sell everything they owned and embark on a new chapter that was kicked-off with their unforgettable wedding day.

Who needs transportation when you have a second-line parade band as your escort!

Sarah and Michael threw an unforgettable New Orleans wedding that was as much about their love as it was the guest experience. Alexis Nelson, planner and designer with Uncommon Camellia, developed a custom design that took excellent care of the guests while incorporating the couple's timeless style. Guests enjoyed private transportation (via Royal Coach) into the French Quarter for the ceremony at St. Louis Cathedral. Afterward, Sarah and Michael led guests in a second-line parade with the well-known Kinfolk Brass Band. The parade ended at The Ritz Carlton New Orleans for cocktails and a seated dinner.
