A luxe country club wedding that created a glamorous garden set-up
In the fall of 2013, Carter's family decided to move from the suburbs of Atlanta (where he was born and raised) to Southern California. Being stubborn, he refused to embrace this new journey and couldn't wait to get back "Home." Then... he met Lauren, and Carter began to think maybe SoCal could feel a little bit more like home. In May of 2014, these high school sweethearts became a couple, and the rest was history! From high school dances to four years of college at cross-town rivals, USC and UCLA, their love only became stronger. After nearly seven years of growing up together, Carter proposed to Lauren in Scottsdale, AZ in February of 2021.

On their wedding day, Lauren stunned in her Galia Lahav gown purchased from The White Dress. Kohnur Beauty got her wedding ready, giving her that sweet bridal glow enhancing her natural beauty. Carter donned a timeless black tux and bowtie, while the bridesmaids wore beautiful sage green gowns.
Blending florals with dripping crystals helped bring the luxe garden theme to life
Lauren and Carter tied the knot at Vista Valley Country Club with a stunning outdoor ceremony that blended endless florals with chandeliers and crystals dripping down from the ceremony pavilion. Moonlight Floral Design brought this luxe secret garden vibe indoors for their reception, also, which featured greenery adorned chandeliers and lush arrangements cascading from the tables to the floors. Sundrop Vintage tied all of this together with classic design pieces that made for the perfect foundation for this dreamy garden party theme. All the details flowed together beautifully thanks to Kary & Co. and Chris J. Evans, and Audrey Alba Films captured it all on film perfectly.
Nods to the couple's story and wedding theme were sprinkled throughout the reception
Laura Marie Cakes further tied in the garden party theme with a white wedding cake that was hand-painted with a dainty floral design. And as if that weren't enough, guests were also able to indulge in Swoonful's fresh cotton candy cart. Nods to the couple's story were sprinkled in throughout the evening with fun facts about them displayed on the cocktail hour napkins, as well as Lauren's love for horses displayed through the signature cocktails.
