A colorful wedding under curtains of marigolds at The Valentine in LA

velvet bridesmaid dresses

Long distance love can be tough, but Danielle and Tom are "couple goals" for how to make it work. For 7 years of their relationship, Tom lived in Washington D.C while in medical school and then during his residency; he moved to L.A to be with Danielle in 2019. The two adopted an adorable - but wild! - rescue pup named Boomer, and together they've traveled the world.

Details throughout the day highlighted the couple's love of travel

Danielle and Tom's wedding was heavily influenced by their love for travel. Their guestbook was a travel book for guests to highlight and recommend where their next trip should be, and in lieu of table numbers, they did postcards from every state they've visited together.

Terracotta tied this earthy yet bright color palette together

The centerpieces for the reception were made of terracotta vases with marigolds, bold colors, and a light blush runner to soften the look, paired with linen napkins. The sliced citrus fruit on the reception tables brought in a lovely summer aroma. The live band rounded out the lively, summer ambiance. It was truly a day filled with adventure, family, friends, and love!
