Anusha and James knew immediately that there were sparks between them. The couple initially met at their first jobs after college. At one point, James was throwing a birthday party for a friend and thought it was also the perfect time to invite Anusha so they could spend time together outside of work. After the party that night, the two went on a proper first date, and the rest - as they say - is history! Before proposing, James reached out to a jeweler in Boston to design a custom ring for Anusha. He proposed on a quiet morning together over coffee.

Even with plenty of metallics, sequins, and crystals, the venue's beauty shone through

Coming from different cultural backgrounds, Anusha and James worked to incorporate both of their traditions, holding two wedding ceremonies in the same afternoon. They wanted the focus to be on a colorful and fun wedding that fused Indian wedding traditions with their own personal taste. Knowing that Indian weddings already included plenty of metallics, sequins, and crystals, they intentionally left space for their venue to shine.

The bride's colorful wedding attire practically glowed

As a lover of jewelry, Anusha was so excited to finally wear her wedding day outfit. Anusha was radiant in golden yellows and silvers, with diamonds, and an ornate pearl and emerald choker necklace. The couple chose clothing that reflected their culture, so Anusha wore traditional Indian clothing while James wore a navy-colored suit.

Two ceremonies let the couple honor both of their cultural backgrounds

They held a ritual-based Hindu ceremony indoors, where warm-toned florals created an archway around the couple. Afterward, they moved to the pergola outside for a Christian ceremony at sunset. And, of course, the reception wouldn’t be complete without their party-ready outfit changes that allowed for more room to dance with plenty of sparkling details! It truly was the perfect day.
