Swatch What I can Do!

From the Bride: Once we set a date in October, I knew I wanted rich berry tones. I went to Home Depot and actually hand picked out 3 Pantone paint swatches (Marsala, soft plum, and sandstone) and carried them with me EVERYWHERE for wedding inspiration. I went to BHLDN (no prior research) and found ALL of the bridesmaids outfits in the EXACT color of my swatches. Everything just fell into place seamlessly… it was incredible.

Our day was better than any dream I ever had. From the moment I woke up as a “miss” to the minute I laid my head down as a “mrs”, every part of our day exceeding my expectations. It was utter perfection. As I look back and reflect on the best day ever, seeing my finances face when the chapel doors opened practically brought me to my knees. He was so moved he was brought to tears. Although we were surrounded by our family and dearest friends, it felt like it was just Matt and I in the presence of God.

Be In the Moment

The only way I can describe our day is The. Best. Day. Ever. It is so difficult to put it into words. I am a ultimate perfectionist and control freak (if I’m honest) and made sure my personal touch was on everything and anything. When our wedding came everyone expected me to be my “high strung self” leading up to our moment. On the contrary, I was the complete opposite. I was in such a state of euphoria and happiness that it was finally setting in that I was marrying the love of my life. Everything about our day was perfection… I was marrying my best friend/ high school sweetheart. I had dreamt of that day since I was a little girl.
