From Let's Frolic Together

Historic Spanish architecture meets urban warehouse fun in this unique and charming wedding celebration in beautiful San Diego. Raquel & Bernard are two incredibly kind-hearted, silly, and oh-so-tender lovebirds who were brimming with so many creative ideas for their day. The ceremony kicked off in Balboa Park at historic Saint Francis Chapel in golden dreamy light and so much joy. We loved wandering through the park with our couple after the ceremony while they were experiencing newlywed joy.

sweet & thoughtful

From the utterly sweet and thoughtful gifts they gave each other during getting ready like the custom engraved rustic ring box and retro viewfinder with images of their life together to Raquel’s elegant lace-up gown, flowing train, and cathedral veil, with a timeless cascading bouquet to their families playing such an important part of the day, this gave me the cuddliest feelings start-to-finish.

it's all in The details

Stand out details included a guestbook as a signable record, candlelit farmhouse tables, dip dyed table numbers and place cards, along with a donut wall and a wood fired pizza truck. We loved that they wanted to balance the classic and historic details of their ceremony at a quintessentially San Diegan landmark with a modern LIT party vibe at Moniker Warehouse in the East Village. And that dance floor was hot, hot, hot. The multiple marquee signs set the high energy tone. Loved working with this team, and adored documenting these two wonderful people as they kicked off their marriage with such a smashing day!
