Winter is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love how magical the earth feels when everything is still and silent, crisp with the smell of wood burning fires floating through the air. It seems as though time stops during this season, and everything is calm and peaceful. Although I know this isn’t the case with winter storms and the Christmas rush and frustrations from power outages and ice, I still like to stop and take a moment to breathe in some fresh winter air, drink a hot beverage and reflect on how wonderful life is.
