A REAL GOOD TIME
After meeting through mutual friends, Jade and Brian quickly became inseparable. “Everything was supernatural for us from the start and we are best friends,” says Jade. They have a love of travel, delicious food, and adore their Australian Shepard Ruxin. Their inspiration for their wedding day was boho-chic and they chose Mae’s Ridge for its incredible scenery, natural lighting, and contemporary feel. Their priority for the day was to enjoy each moment and have a good time with friends, family, and loved ones.
A CAREFREE CEREMONY
Beth Walker of 36th Street Events worked with Jade and Brian to bring their vision to life. Upon arrival, guests were invited to the ceremony space under a canopy of oak trees where the warm tones of the florals and carefree vibe of the wispy pampas grass, crafted by Remi + Gold, provided the perfect setting to enjoy the expansive vista. After the ceremony, two beer burros mingled with guests in a dreamy outdoor lounge complete with wooden swings and lawn games.
AN OPEN-AIR VENUE
Mae’s Ridge, with its high ceiling, expansive space, and the ability to open walls of windows to the outdoors provided the perfect reception space amid a pandemic. Tables and chairs were given extra space so guests had ample room. The tables were draped in velvet and beautifully set with textured chargers, soft linen napkins, and accented by soft gold tableware. Florals and candles lined the tables providing soft, romantic touches. The Inviting Pear expertly designed personalized day-of stationery including a sweet portrait of Ruxin on their signature cocktail sign. After enjoying a delicious plated dinner by Contigo Catering, guests danced the night away and enjoyed the cozy patio lounge.
