From Vatne Designs: Ashley had a beautiful vision, and we created an antique silver belt adorned with Swarovksi rhinestones to add the perfect finishing touch to her wedding gown. Complimenting the square filigree belt we designed a necklace, earrings, bracelet and hair comb. Her bridesmaids all received bold pearl bracelets and baubly earrings in shades of silver, and her maids of honor a bright red ranunculus flower centered in rhinestones for their hair. Seeing Ashley’s wedding photos is a thrill, and I feel to honored to have been a part of her gorgeous day.
From the Bride: Alex and I met during our freshman year of college and enjoyed four fun-filled years together at the University of Washington in Seattle. Our wedding took place in my hometown, Bellingham, Washington where Alex I spent the last few years working on our master’s degrees. We have fallen in love with this small city and absolutely love what it has to offer in the summer.
On August 6th our college friends and closet family members came to Bellingham to celebrate our wedding with us. We had a traditional catholic ceremony, set in the evening at 7pm, followed by a cocktail hour and seated dinner. The evening was an amazing celebration that lasted late into the night.
Our wedding plans began with a simple pallet of colors (slate grey, champagne, & valentine red) and a personalized monogram. From that we designed everything from our cake to our pew decorations. Our goal was to incorporate this theme and give our wedding a unique feel. We had an amazing coordinator and our vendors worked together seamlessly to make this the wedding go off without a hitch…. We could not have asked for a better day!
