I first met Adrea at Zachary & Carolyn’s wedding last year-my favorite way to meet new clients is at weddings I’m shooting. That way, they see me in action and they know exactly what they’re getting. Then we ran into each other at the Monterey Market (Berkeley’s best kept secret) and she told me she was getting married! Seeing as how she shops at MM, I knew I wanted to shoot her wedding. hee hee.
I love when I just click with my clients right away. That’s what it felt like with Adrea and Dave! They got married at The Olema Inn, which is my new favorite place to shoot. The light is gorgeous and so are the apple trees. And although Adrea used to work at Chez Panisse as a pastry chef and Dave loves to sail, the antique cake mixers and the sailboats were not their additions…strange, no?

*All the other desserts were made by friends Carrie Lewis and Katie Gulla who are pastry cooks at Chez Panisse Peggy Orr taught a yoga class for us in the morning and the bride’s hair was done by Rachel Melton from Mill Valley.
