Italian Wedding in Marostica: Vintage Charm

Share

Brianna and Christian got married in Marostica, a small town in Northern Italy, hometown of Christian’s parents.
They chose to celebrate their wedding in Marostica because they liked the idea of following Christian’s parent’s footsteps. They got married in Marostica town hall, only a few metres far from the church where Christian’s mum and dad got married more then 20 years ago.

Mauro Pozzer took these wonderful photos, while My Italian Wedding Planner, specialised in weddings in Venice and Veneto area, coordinate the day.

Even the wedding transport was a personal touch – they used two cars Christian’s cousin had restored, one was an old Alfa Romeo which belonged to Paola’s (Christian’s mum) father who has now passed away. It was used as Mario & Paola’s wedding car when they got married. They also had an old Fiat Cinquecento (Fiat 500) which was also Christian’s nonno’s car.

Marostica is famous as a medieval town which has still got the ruins of the ancient castle. The view from there is simply amazing and Brianna & Christian managed to take some wonderful pictures!

Their reception was held in an ancient villa which still keeps its ancient beauty – vintage forniture and all sorts of deco decorations have contributed to give a fairy tale touch to this wedding.
