A Stylish Blush and Black Tie Wedding in San Diego
The gorgeous Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is one of San Diego’s premier wedding venues, and you’ll soon see why! The surrounding garden landscape was the backdrop for Melissa and Dave’s stylish blush and black tie outdoor wedding, and boy did it turn out beautiful.

From Mandy Ford Photography: When I stepped into the bridal suite and saw Melissa’s Ines Di Santo illusion neckline gown, I was so excited. Her taste is so beautiful, and she paid attention to every detail. Melissa’s bouquet was one of my favorites of all time. Not to mention, it smelled so lovely! I loved how the soft florals paired in contrast to the rough stone pillars in the ceremony site.
A San Diego Venue that's to die for
When Melissa and Dave asked me to capture their Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines wedding, I was over the moon. This San Diego wedding venue is to die for. I can’t thank the team at Sweet Blossom Weddings enough for putting together the most lovely wedding. Additionally, the florals by Nectar and Bloom were sheer perfection.
Family oriented wedding
Immediately upon meeting Melissa and Dave, it became apparent to me that family is everything to this couple. They chose to include their family and precious heirlooms at their Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines wedding. First, Melissa wore a gorgeous Tiffany bracelet gifted to her mother by Melissa’s father the day she was born. I could see the pride in her father’s face when he saw it on her wrist. Then, Melissa’s brother officiated the most heartfelt ceremony, and Dave’s father was asked to read. Nieces and nephews were part of the wedding party, and grandparents hung out with the groomsmen the morning of the event.
Amazing entertainment
Melissa and Dave chose Encore Event Entertainment, and this was the most uniquely talented group I have ever seen at a wedding. Around every turn, the band had another surprise up their sleeve. Guests did not leave the dance floor all evening, which made for some amazing party photos.
