A Stunning Chapel Wedding Like You’ve Never Seen Before
We can't get enough of this breathtaking chapel wedding in Texas. Like many couples, marriage, for Emily and Sean, is a religious rite and they wanted to incorporate that into their ceremony. If you are planning on a religious ceremony, it can be difficult to decide between asking your spiritual leader to join you at another venue or booking your ceremony at your actual place of worship. Luckily, this couple found the perfect venue that gave them the best of both worlds–a stunning garden estate with a chapel on-site!
The chapel at Ashton Gardens Corinth, with its beautiful exposed wood beams and floor-to-ceiling windows, is the absolute perfect place for a religious wedding ceremony. Petals Couture created these vibrant floral arrangements that truly bring the space to life. It gives you all the lovely church vibes while allowing for breathtaking photos like these ones by Kate Panza. Be Entertained Events was also there to capture every heartfelt moment on video. The couple trusted Lovebird Lane Events to help them design their dream wedding, and every last detail was as perfect as can be. Emily and Sean's candy-colored wedding day was full of effervescent florals, an impressive donut wall, and all of the classic details we love! Our favorite moment just might be the couple's candlelit dance in the middle of their reception space - talk about romantic! Emily said, "When I think of the vision Sean and I had for our wedding, I think of three words: natural, warm, holy. We both have a special connection with nature—we feel at home, totally free when we are outdoors. We got engaged on a Colorado mountain hike relishing this freedom. Above all else, we wanted our wedding to be welcoming and permeated with a tangible love—the love that Sean and I have for each other, and that we have for our friends and family. Finally, we wanted to honor the faith on which our relationship is founded—we were so excited to share this holy moment of marriage with all of those we hold close.
A DREAM COME TRUE
Zoom forward to the big day, standing there surrounded by the tall windows of Ashton Gardens Corinth framed by freshly budding trees filtering in the pre-sunset golden light. My groom stood across from me in a bright blue three-piece suit and me in a lacey floral honey-kissed wedding dress—a solitary wooden cross adorned with flowers between us. Surrounding us were my bridesmaids in sage green dresses and his groomsmen in matching bright blue suits. Safe to say, we felt our vision was a reality.
THE TEAM THAT MADE IT HAPPEN
Our incredible florist, Emily Ahlfinger of Petals Couture, made our springtime wedding come alive with sprigs of eucalyptus, salmon-colored roses, small exclamations of blue delphinium, and, best of all, giant pink pops of the most beautiful peonies I have ever seen! The natural light kissed these bright arrangements, complemented by multi-tier candles, and surrounded us and our guests with an unassuming warmth and joy. Our photographer, Kate Panza, captured this dream artfully. Kate seamlessly entered into our holy moment and somehow managed to capture not only our pictures but also our overflowing feelings of joy and love. Our wedding coordinator, Jessica Hernandez of Lovebird Lane Events, made sure every detail of our special day was taken care of so Sean and I could be fully present in our wedding and celebration. This dream team, combined with my wonder woman of a mother and my dad by her side, made this day so perfect for Sean and me. The result of their excellent work making our vision a reality was an elegant, but simple dream—like a breath of fresh air hinting at the wonderful future in front of us as man and wife.
