And would you believe it, neither of the brides wore cowboy boots and there wasn’t a scrap of burlap in the whole decor!

Splendor In The Grass
While Colorado is brimming with beautiful wedding locations, the barn wedding has quickly become a Colorado classic. This team of professionals out of Denver sought to show the versatility of a rustic venue and that it can extend far beyond cowboy boots and burlap details. With this whimsical styled shoot, Albert’s Lodge at Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur became a soft and feminine dream for an LGBT-centered inspiration shoot – complete with flowing gowns, raindrops, and sunset shots.
Geometric touches grounded the theme through glass terrariums, hand-lettered tile place cards, and a stunning hexagon arch. The ladies danced through the grasses – complementing each other in a blue ballgown and the other in champagne with a touch of sparkle. Unexpected combinations flowed effortlessly with silver and gold, hard and soft, light and dark. The story being told is that love is love, the sun always comes after the rain, and every party should have a Cocktail Caravan.
