When Nate planned his proposal to Steph, he thought of everything.

A fabulous penthouse in downtown Chicago for the weekend? Check.
Two photographers to capture the whole thing on camera? Double check.
I (Rebecca at Studio Noveau Photography) was honored to be a part of his big event, and asked my friend Krystal at Krystal Muellenberg Photography to tag along and help me document the proposal. We, armed with our cameras and a friend to hold a videocamera, we made our way to Chicago’s Water Tower Place.

The security guard who asked the musician to leave was nice enough to overlook her presence for 20 minutes. Luckily, Nate was able to wrangle Steph away from The Gap in time to meet our target time of 1pm. Thanks to his attention to detail, everything fell into place perfectly! After she said yes, we did a quick change of clothes and grabbed some engagement photos on Michigan Avenue and the rented penthouse. Congratulations, Nate and Steph!
