It’s Beach Thursday on my Kate Parker Wedding! This classic coastal wedding, featured by Candi’s Floral Creations, incorporates some great beachy details. The starfish, sand dollars, and nets were included in the wedding decor and added a great aesthetic to the beach themed atmosphere. I love the fish net idea, it’s a great item to use on the place card table or as part of the centerpiece design. The scenery is gorgeous … the sailboats and the lighthouse are such great places for photo ops. The blue color scheme complements the seaside and is a mellow tone – perfect for a laid back beach wedding!
How cute are these lanterns! I really like the idea of having a light in the middle of the table as a centerpiece. It adds some ambiance.
At first i didn’t notice this, but the bride and groom are both in white! What a great idea. Who say’s only the bride can wear white!? The groom is wearing a white tie, white shirt, and white pocket square as opposed to his groomsmen who wear a light blue tie, and blue pocket square.
The nautical cake is great. The rope like piping along the bottom of each tier is a classic look for a beach themed cake and the sand dollar details are just adorable. What i like best about the cake though, is the abstract piece of coral sitting on top! It gives the whole cake a unique look and brings your eye right to the top.
