The Details

Stephanie and Cesar's fall wedding at The Commodore Perry Estate was absolutely as spectacular as it looks in these drop-dead gorgeous photos. The couple not only had impeccable style and an eye for detail, but they were beyond ready to finally have their dream wedding. Due to the pandemic, they had to re-plan their wedding - they worked with Pearl Events Austin to reschedule everything and design a colorful affair perfect for fall in Austin. Check out the full gallery here for all of the incredible photos courtesy of Julie Wilhite Photography, featuring floral design by Remi & Gold.

The Wedding Theme

The theme of Stephanie and Cesar's wedding was color and joy. They chose to focus on deep jewel tones, like burgundy bridesmaid's gowns and lots of wine dahlias, and pops of hot pink garden roses, mauve accents, plum anemones, and a splash of teal.

The Couple's Wedding Style

The couple was styled to perfection. Stephanie wore a crepe gown with a lace bodice and an illusion neckline and back. Buttons graced the long train, and her cathedral-length veil had soft beading on the edge. Cesar wore two looks. The first was for their ceremony, where he donned a classic black tuxedo, making it modern with velvet loafers. For the reception, he changed into a white tuxedo jacket that popped against all the colors surrounding them.

The Reception Space

The couple wanted a reception space that was right in Austin, but private and felt like a European countryside. Commodore Perry Estate was the perfect choice! This 10-acre property is completely walled-in, allowing the utmost privacy. It was easy to forget how close the party was to downtown! The bride and groom chose to tent the sunken gardens, which are 11,000 square feet of manicured grounds tucked into the back of the estate. The focal point of the reception were the incredible flowers created by Remi & Gold. Their head table featured a draping garland filled with roses, dahlias, and carnations. After dinner under the café-lit tent, guests headed to the chapel for an all-night party! Guests danced the night away to a live band and enjoyed Croquembouche and cake. From beginning to end, every detail of this day was perfect!
