The year 2020 made its mark on all of us. The couples that had been dreaming and planning their weddings for years had to postpone their so desired events indefinitely. But, fortunately for this couple, their elopement was celebrated in 2020 without postponing anything. So, on a hot August day, they celebrated their wedding in a stunning luxury location in the eternal city of Rome.
A GEM OF A VENUE
Villa Clara is a sumptuous historic estate that sets a new standard for luxury accommodation in the city. The villa has been carefully renovated, preserving its external and internal structure as well the historical elements of decor. Reimagined in Art Deco style, the extravagant interiors will dazzle anyone. Over 1000 square meters of marble, semiprecious stone surfaces (including rare amethyst wall panels sourced from Madagascar and Ural), and a vast art collection are hidden behind the historical 1920's facade.
The most fitting description of Villa Clara’s art collection would be an “accumulation of beautiful things”. Large and eclectic–it encompasses Greek and Roman antiques, Chinese and Japanese objects d’art, European period furniture, and pieces of contemporary design. Rich fabrics, marble bathrooms, delicate artworks, authentic period furniture, and vintage pieces by Lalique, Baccarat, Colombo–each suite bursts with character.
A TALENTED TEAM
The amazing team that made this day possible was gathered together by Wedding House agency who organized this event with precision and attention to all of the details and these amazing photos were captured by Lilly Red, international wedding photographer. One of the most notable elements of this wedding is the arch made of painted gold monstera leaves by Lada Fiori. The concept was to create something big and remarkable in line with the style of the villa and to preserve tradition, so the arch remains a laurel wreath of Roman emperors.View All Images
