True Grace Photography
This shoot is based on an idea I’ve been considering (loosely via Susan Sontag) that opposite design elements, when juxtaposed, become more intriguing and beautiful because of the dialogue created between the two.
Company 251 is a brand-new venue opened by the same dream team behind Moveable Feast + Co in the western suburbs of Chicago. This venue is part of a revitalization of the downtown district of Aurora, IL. It is a space that takes up two levels in an industrial warehouse that has been remodeled and refinished with marble accents, brass Restoration Hardware lighting elements and loads of natural light.
For such a decidedly industrial, modern venue, we styled our bride as an ethereal Romantic with touches of the old world, fine art elegance- draping tulips and fruit in the bridal bouquet, a loosely gathered abundance of curls and poses inspired by traditional ballet.
Our vendor team is comprised of ethically-minded, female artists and independent business owners who are passionate about creating meaningful, worthwhile work to bring happiness and joy to their clients.
