Martha Stewart Weddings magazine cover summer 2013

The summer issue of Martha Stewart Weddings just debuted, and it’s got tons of ideas that we know you will love, like how to create these vellum favor boxes below. Pick up the issue in hard copy, or download the digital issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine on your iPad!

Elegant presents with translucent wrap and golden ribbon

As always you are going to find uhh-amazing weddings like Gillian and William’s nautical themed celebration. Filled with all things nautical,  touches of stripes, anchors, nautical stars, knots, shells, and even code flags. They brought everything together in a palette of blue and white (naturally) for their big day in Connecticut.

They put a fun spin on escort cards, by letterpressing them with a rope design and making custom pins to display them upon entry to the reception tent. You can find out how to DIY this project (all it takes is pins, charms, and some glue), as well as a few others like adding stripes to your look, using rope as décor, and rubber stamping your favors so they’re the perfect fit for any waterfront fete. See more of their story here.
