Romantic Apple Orchard Surprise Engagement Ideas From Quebec

Share

Couple in love enjoying a romantic moment sitting in a tree

A spring engagement in a romantic apple orchard is a dream engagement any girl would love. So get ready to take notes because spring will be here before you know it, and it’s the perfect season to ask that special someone the ultimate question.

Beautifully styled by
A Gorgeous Fête, we’re a little smitten over just how cute it all turned out. We especially love the handwritten note wrapped around the french baguette (no one would see that coming!). Don’t miss all the romance these two share captured by
Lisa Renault Photographie, and be sure to pin your favorites from the
gallery after!

Apple Orchard engagement

From
Lisa Renault Photographie:
Orchards are very popular in Quebec during the spring season. Their gorgeous apple tree blossoms offer a romantic atmosphere and magical landscapes. With A Gorgeous Fête, we wanted to create an inspiration for couples, and especially the grooms-to-be who would like to do the perfect proposal to their love.

French baguette surprise

We imagined a picnic under the trees with a sweet and yet special proposal. A lovely poem by Pablo Neruda followed by the famous question: “Will you marry me? were both beautifully handwritten by ImagineJoy Calligraphie, and wrapped around a French baguette for the occasion.

Table for two to celebrate

To add to the romantic effect, we arranged a small table for two with champagne and some sweet treats for the couple, to celebrate their new engagement at sunset. We particularly fell for the mini donuts by Les Demoiselles and their appealing apple pie! To add an extra delicate touch to the setup, A Gorgeous Fête created small wild flower arrangements on the table and the back of the chairs. We opted for soft tones of beige, light blue and gray as well as wood material and wild flowers to keep the simplicity and the natural look of the proposal with this cute couple.
