Romance Blossoms at this Floridian and Floral-Inspired Inspo Shoot

img_67

This styled shoot was extra special because one of the pairs is a real married couple! The theme for the day was "romance with you," which was infused into in every single element of the day.  Inspirational romantic touches included intimate seating for the ceremony and reception, elegant florals everywhere, a boat in the pond that was covered in florals, and the most dreamy venue backdrop called the Mill Pond Estate.  Keep scrolling to see the beautiful photos by Portraits By Jeroza.  All the images are in the full gallery here, so be sure to click through and read on to hear more about this special shoot.

The Mill Pond Estate venue has the word "romance" written all over it: the mossy trees where the sun peeks through, a flower garden with flowers that smell like an early spring morning, and a pond with a water feature that just makes for the perfect subtle background to creating dreamy bride and groom portraits.  It's truly the perfect venue for anyone who loves a garden setting.  Add these two beautiful couples, curated wedding gowns, and all of the bridal bells and whistles, and it all added up to a stunning wedding day.  In addition to being an incredible venue, the Mill Pond Estate also served as the florist, creating a bridal bouquet with florals grown right on the property!

The dresses for the shoot were designed by Terrie Nelson, who owns the Lillie Mae Collection. The collection was inspired by her daughters. The collection is described as "curated with a photographer and wedding designer's perspective. Each gown is filled with elements that will photograph well and elevate your next occasion."

The tablescapes were set up with the intention of creating an intimate get-together.  A garden setting with high end touches - such as individual cakes, silverware dipped in gold, and spring colors -  tied into  the floral garden backdrop at the estate.  The wooden structure was a DIY project and, rattan light fixtures were added to tie the scene together.  Concurrently, the combination of a modern setup with pastel colors mixed with the warmth and coziness of the rustic tables stunningly. It was the florals, however, that tied the theme all together.  The tented reception area, also, truly showed the capabilities of the venue. The ceremony was also set up under the same tent, where guests could be under a shade but still have the full view of the lush green backdrop. The ceremony had an over the top floral installation and the chairs were set up in a half circle to promote the intimate setting and the feeling of being together.  Rain or shine could not take away from what the beautiful Mill Pond Estate has to offer!

To top it all off, instead of just one cake, there were multiple cakes! We think everyone can agree that there can never be too much cake :-) Each guest received their own individual cake that was handmade by the talented Sugar Dreams by Dessy. Each cake had a different design and - even here - the florals were front and center on the fondant and as cake toppers.
