Not Your Typical Miami Wedding
Hidden in the heart of Miami is a sprawling estate with botanical gardens, a Spanish-style villa, and a dazzling waterfront view. Playing off of those European vibes, this team designed an elegant wedding incorporating as many details from this epic venue as they could from floral sketches and the stunning blush and tan color palette. The couple looks every-bit-the part of visiting nobility with the bride in a voluminous ballgown and the groom in a sleek black tux. So, before you decide to fly across the Atlantic in search of your perfect venue, perhaps the perfect destination is waiting for you right in your backyard.
Ema Giangreco Weddings and Janna Brown Design Co. designed this European-inspired shoot at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. These understated but elegant florals by Janna Brown Design Co. work to enhance the already beautiful bones of this impressive venue. Ingrid Carney followed the couple as they explored this gorgeous property and the result looks like something out of a fairytale. Aziz Studios was also there to get it all on video! A STORYBOOK VENUE
This editorial was inspired by Italian influences, like the striking architectural design that is found at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The romance of the old-world Italian culture and aesthetic was paired with fresh modern-day romance that today's bride and groom share. Immersing ourselves in the Spanish influences of Vizcaya, Janna Brown Design Co. built this design to embrace all of the unique beauty that this unparalleled venue presented. From the storybook staircases to the Spanish moss swaying in the trees, every corner of Vizcaya inspired our design details.
GETTING THAT SUNKISSED LOOK
Our bride donned layers of lace in a dramatic Monique Lhuillier gown, paired with a lace-tipped veil that trailed behind her for an old-world Spanish aesthetic. Brazil Raine created a bridal look that was natural and fresh for the bride! We warmed the palette with subtle pink and dusty rose tones that complimented the painted stonework throughout the gardens and the sun-kissed skin of our resplendent bride.
The paper goods, designed by Inquisited, were inspired by the lush botanical gardens, with intricate floral and foliage sketches carried through the suite. Our reception tables boasted luxurious pooling La Tavola Linen, topped with gold-rimmed dinnerware, crystal glassware, custom menus, and an abundance of blooms crafted by Janna Brown Design Co.View All Images
