Blending Ireland’s History with Present Day
Ireland isn’t often thought of for its super modern, luxury-designed weddings. Ireland’s wedding vendors say that typical weddings in Ireland are centered around more boho and garden-type wedding themes. With this in mind, the team behind this shoot wanted to create an editorial wedding that felt luxurious, romantic, and modern, and that could inspire those looking to have a destination wedding in Ireland or those getting married locally in Dublin and could help bring this modern design to life.
Historical Photography with a Modern Twist
One of the most unique moments of the shoot was towards the end, where Ivana Patarcic (the shoot photographer) photographed the couple in front of a large, historical painting inside Luttrellstown Castle. This created the feeling of a frozen moment in history both encompassing the “present” (our couple) and “past” (the historic painting behind them).

It helped bring a modern touch of attire to the historical setting. The dress was accompanied by a set of simple, elegant Bella Pearl silver earrings and a bracelet from luxury jewelry designer, Touch of Venus Jewellery.
