Our styled shoot took place at a world-class luxury hotel and wedding venue Fairmont Waterfront which is located in historic but also the city’s dynamic harbourfront at the Burrard Inlet of Pacific Ocean. We wanted to showcase their garden and hidden patio on the rooftop of the hotel’s third floor. These and more spaces could be an inspiration for smaller and intimate destination weddings when the couple wants to share the joy of marriage just with the closest people around them. The decor inspiration came from a simple yet classic style; white’s, baby pink’s with green eucalyptus as garlands have been wedding classics for centuries and we will never get tired of them.
We live in a time when there is so much unnecessary waste and sometimes weddings are an unfortunate contribution to that (favors, drapery, custom napkins, name tags, etc). Minimalist decor is to support environmentally friendly weddings and wedding planning, and especially to honor and embrace a sustainable philosophy which Fairmont Waterfront is a great advocate and us together with them.
