The idea of this editorial comes from the desire to continue the story of Carrie and Mr Big (Sex and the city). About the styling

Carrie is preparing herself for her wedding, but a little bit of confusion is starting to show on her face. Check the table settings but feel a sense of boredom, of malaise within yourself. Little by little she makes a drastic decision. She doesn’t want this marriage and at the end of our story she’s the one running away. She chooses herself and her happiness. Our Carrie is a contemporary woman who independently decides what is best for herself. She feels that what she is doing does not make her really happy and despite the difficulties and responsibilities that her choice entails, she makes a clear decision. She wants to be happy and free to seek her true happiness.

To represent the revenge of Carrie, the protagonist of Sex and the city, we thought of a series of outfit changes that best interpret every moment experienced by the woman. The outfits chosen consist of a dress characterized by a nude-colored tulle cloud by Nicole Sposa, the enveloping and provocative dresses by Pronovias to finish in the sculptural single shoulder and in the silk tulle by Vera Wang embellished with a touch of blue embroidered on the side.They are all highly glamorous dresses worn by a strong and determined woman but who recognizes that she is very fashion because each dress has its own particularity, like the latest soft outfit that recalls a ballerina’s skirt combined with a short lace top embellished with two strings of pearls as Chanel’s style, which she uses to escape her sad destiny.

The flowers have the old-fashioned touch of the 30s and 40s, well represented by the classic blue and pink mixed with modern peacock feathers in their very retro and timeless being.The jewels that embellish the shot with the cake are by Salvini Gioielli Official . The soul of this story is not sad but gives every girl the hope, even by running away, of being happy and protagonists of their own ending.

About the location

The location chosen for this editorial is Villa Affaitati in Grumello Cremonese. An elegant complex dating back to the sixteenth century. The large halls have the elegant flavor of the past, as well as the large courtyards with arches and the moat around the villa recalls the fortified beauty of a glorious past.
