How To Get Engaged In Rome

Romantic Rome Engagement

There are no words to describe how totally smitten we are over this engagement shoot by Kairos Events and Wedding Scenario. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck's enchanting vespa ride through the bustling streets of Rome in the beloved classic, Roman Holiday.
Among all the sweet moments captured by Roberto Candido, we cannot get enough of the vintage mint vespa from Nozze Auto d’Epoca and the oh-so-adorable floral wreath from Flor Eventi! This visual extravaganza is meant to be relished, so keep scrolling for more! Oh and be sure to visit the full gallery, where you can see the full day in its entirety.

Enchanting city

From Wedding ScenarioWho doesn’t love the atmosphere of the Rome of the ‘50s, the Rome Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn explored on board a Vespa, her enchanted look while admiring every corner and the city, knowing she is experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Well, in the marriage proposal shooting with Chiara and Eddie we wanted to bring back to life those emotions, wandering through the streets and stopping in the most enchanting locations of the city to the lesser known but equally fascinating spots. After all, a marriage proposal deserves some privacy, doesn’t it?

Fashionable style

Full circle red skirt and white top for Chiara, who completely identified with the timeless and fashionable style of the ‘50s, which was adapted to our modern taste thanks to the details added by Marco Fava and Mila Gaudenzi, who designed her look. For the groom-to-be a flawless suit, symbol of Italian elegance, that granted him Gregory Peck’s seductive charm.

Vintage vespa

One essential element in order to live fully the atmospheres of the movie “Roman Holiday” was the unforgettable Vespa, made available by Nozze Auto d’Epoca. It was the exact same model used in the movie, although in a very light pastel green that perfectly matched the floral decoration realized by Flor Eventi.

Home-made decor

One more evidence of the beauty of the made in Italy are the home-made decorations by Impronte Events Design, made of wood and natural fabrics. I really wouldn’t know what detail is more charming, if the heart-shaped wooden ring box or the banner announcing the wedding date!
