Lush green gardens bursting with manicured hedges, hanging ivy, and flowers galore. Where do you imagine this beautiful setting to be? Somewhere in Europe? Good guess, but this lovely scene was set in Washington State at the breathtaking Monet Vineyard. Peonies and Petals dreamed of a location nearer home to make her wedding ideas a reality, and low and behold she found this hidden gem in the Pacific North West.

Form Peonies & Petals
I always dreamt of getting married at a far-away destination somewhere in Europe, like Italy or France. When deciding on a location for this styled shoot, I wanted a venue that screamed dreamy and that would be filled with naturally grown fields of flowers and vines everywhere. This vineyard was just too perfect when I saw it online.
To be honest, I got lost finding this place because it seemed like it didn’t belong on this small street of Washington. Everything surrounding this venue was fields and random homes. Once you enter the metal gates, you wouldn’t imagine that this treasure could be hidden in this part of Washington.
You are immediately transported to a European escape; from the velvet green grass, the bundles of white beautiful cosmos grown all around the lawn, the luscious grape vineyards growing filled with ripe juicy grapes, the oversized antique hydrangeas growing surrounding the house and the ivy intertwined, cascading on the outside of the house at Monet Vineyards.
The Design
I am a floral designer from Southern California, planning and executing a styled shoot out-of-state seemed impossible, especially being on a time crunch. Curating and styling my vision would have been hard to accomplish without a talented, local team. I first started with finding a photographer that would capture the concept perfectly with what I had in mind. I was hoping to find a light and airy photographer who is as obsessed with the details as I am. I came across Gabriela Ines and found that her work lined up with everything I had in mind. As we connected and shared the plans for the shoot, I knew she understood my vision and I could completely trust her to create beautiful and romantic images.
Dorotheea from Kamea Events was a perfect addition to our team. Not only did she help in styling the vision, but she was also essential in organizing our vendor team. She was able to take my style board and make it a reality. The hues of blues and blush setting set a regal tone for the elegant venue. Every detail, from the Hailey Paige gown, down to the Bella Belle shoes, came together beautifully to create a European, dreamy wedding inspiration.
